Pirates of the Caribbean Canopy Tour is the best zip line adventure on Roatan.

Think diving is exciting? The longest Zip lines in the Americas are here on Roata n at Pirates of the Caribbean Canopy. Experience the thrill and birds eye view of both sides of Roatan while zipping through the air on our dual zip lines. J ust relax, enjoy the ride and take pictures!

Our dual zip lines were designed for your safety by a French Engineer who specializes in Zip lines. The Petzl equipment harnesses that you will wear are relied on by climbers arou nd the world.

The guide will att ach your harness to both steel cable lines for your safety. Hand braking is not necessary as you will slow down naturally when approaching the end point of each zip line. It is not necessary to be as physically strong on our zip li nes.

We are insured by Royal Marine Insurance Group, a US based insurance company. Safety is vital. We inspect the Zip lines each morning and we inspect the harnesses and connect ions after each use. A detailed inspection of all cables and connections is performed each week. We have weekly reviews of safety practices with our guides.

At our entrance pa lapa you will be fitted into your harness and safety equipment. Water, soft drin ks, and T-shirts are available for purchase. Restroom facilities are available at the palapa.

Your tour guides w ill demonstrate and include complete instructions as they assist you throughout the section s of the Zip Lines.

The time for the t our will range from 40 minutes to 1 ½ hours depending on the size of the group.

From the dock of Roatan Port to our facility you will receive a 20 minute s ight seeing tour. If your ship docks at Mahogany Bay, you will receive a 10 to 15 minute sight seeing tour. After you have done the zip line we will also give you a tour to the East End of the island all which is included in the price of the zip line.

We will pick you u p and return you to the cruiseship dock or the Resort where you are staying and b ring you to Pirates of the Caribbean Canopy. We are located East of French Harbo ur just past Fantasy Island Beach Resort.

Age for the tour i s 4 years old and up, the size of a child must be able to fit into harness securely.

Please wear comfor table clothing as you will be wearing harnesses as shown. Please wear shoes that tie or have straps so they will not fall off.

A guide will assis t you in your exciting adventure as you leave each platform. You will be met by a guide at your arrival onto the next platform.

Length of Tour: 4 hours

The length of the tour includes transportation time to and from the cruiseship terminal.

Location of Tour Departure:

Cruiseship Passengers: Your tour guide will meet you across the street from the main security gate of the Roatan Cruiseship Dock. The meeting location serves as the parking area for excursion tour buses transporting cruise ship passengers. Your tour guide will be stationed beside a wooden booth holding a sign displaying your name. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Island Visitors: We'll meet you at the departure point you entered above.

What to Bring:

We will provide high-quality equipment for your ziplining adventure. You should bring the following personal items:

* Swimwear if interested in swimming at West Bay Beach.

* Comfortable clothing and sturdy footwear.

* Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.

* Insect repellant.

* Cash for small purchases.

Level of Physical Exertion:

Ziplining is relatively strenuous. Participants should be relatively fit and weigh less than 250 pounds. Children under 10 and pregnant women are not allowed to participate. Ziplining is also not recommended for people with heart problems, seizure disorders, or vertigo.

Deposits, Refunds and Balance Payments:

We require a 50% deposit to hold the reservation. Your deposit is fully refundable if you cancel your reservation at least 3 days before your tour. In addition, you will receive a full refund if your cruise ship does not stop in Roatan for any reason, or if weather conditions or other factors force us to cancel your reservation. Balance payments in Roatan must be paid in cash with U.S. dollars or travelers checks. If you wish to pay your balance in advance by credit card, a surcharge of 4 percent of the payment amount will be charged to your credit card.
