You're suspended in the air by Cables
creating a superman like effect making
it the closest experience to flying
through the air while having a birds
eye view of the earth below.
Our Canopy tour consists of 16
platforms and 13 suspension cables
on which the person glides while
enjoying the beauty of the forest
canopy and breathtaking ocean
views.
South Shore Canopy Tours is located
on the south west tip of Roatan close
to most tourist attractions such as the
best beaches on the island, bars,
restaurants, resorts and luxury
condominium properties. Located only
5 minutes from West End or West Bay.
From the start on the launch platform,
a new world unfolds as you gently
glide through this natural ecosystem.
This Tour is for anyone over the age of 5, adventurous
and in moderate physical condition. So don't let age or
ability be an obstacle. Our groups are small, our guides
are experienced and our trips are always memorable.

All groups or individuals are briefed by
|
|
|
|
professional instructors before mounting the
cables.
|
|
|
|
Our ziplines include two cables. One is used to
|
|
|
|
attach the person's harness and pulley for easy
gliding from one platform to the other. Thesecond
cable is simply for attaching emergency clips.
|
|
|
|
There are 13 cables not including the emergency
|
|
|
|
cables.
|
|
|
|
There are 16 platforms at different levels of the
|
|
|
|
tour.
|
|
|
|
The maximum length of the cables is 860ft. with a
|
|
|
|
minimum of 40ft.
|
|
|
|
The duration of the tour is between 40 and 90
|
|
|
|
minutes.
|
|
|
|
The tour is 3 kilometers long.
|
|
|
|
There are numerous tricks that tourists can try
|
|
|
|
with help from the instructors. Such as The
Superman, The Upside Down, The Monkey, etc.

Transportation is free from the West Bay Beach area, or 20$ per person from the cruise ship dock and points West of Coxen Hole. Please contact us about transportation from other areas or any other information.
Important Note: Canopy Tours are very popular activities on cruise ship days, please disembark your cruise ship as soon as it docks, this will help us avoid waiting periods at the canopy tours.
Additional Information:
Our tours are scheduled to fit within the port time of the cruise ships arriving in Roatan. We monitor the cruise ship tender schedules and plan our tour itineraries to give you plenty of time to return back to your ship.

Maximum Capacity of Tour: 10 guests

Length of Tour: 4 hours
The length of the tour includes transportation time to and from the cruiseship terminal.
Location of Tour Departure:
Cruiseship Passengers: Your tour guide will meet you across the street from the main security gate of the Roatan Cruiseship Dock. The meeting location serves as the parking area for excursion tour buses transporting cruise ship passengers. Your tour guide will be stationed beside a wooden booth holding a sign displaying your name. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
