Perfect for Cruise Ship Passengers! A great opportunity to try Scuba Diving! You don't even have to be certified to try. You will receive some basic safety instructions from a certified dive instructor both in and out of the water. Afterwards you will be taken to the nearby reef and given the opportunity to dive down to 25 feet with your trusty dive instructor there to help and guide you the entire time. This is a great way to try diving before you commit to the open water course. Actual training and dive time is around 1.5 hours. The tour includes dive tanks with air, regulator and BCD. Wet suit and snorkel gear (fins, mask and snorkel) are not included. You can bring your own, or they can rented at the dive shop for 20$ per person. The tour is located at West Bay Beach which is a 15-20 minute car ride from the cruise ship dock. Most activities and tours are located in the West Bay/ West end area. West Bay beach is the most beautiful beach on the island. There you will find great snorkeling, a beautiful white sandy beach, small boat rentals or a glass bottom boat tour. You can also go to West End which has a beach area and offers a wide variety of restaurants and shopping. Transportation is not included for this tour, but can be provided for $20 USD per person from the Cruise Ship Dock and points west of Coxen Hole. Location of Tour Departure:
CRUISE SHIP PASSENGERS: Your tour guide will meet you across the street from the main security gate of the Roatan Cruiseship Dock. The meeting location serves as the parking area for excursion tour buses transporting cruise ship passengers. Your tour guide will be stationed beside a wooden booth holding a sign displaying your name. This tour is scheduled to fit within the port time of the cruise ships arriving in Roatan. We monitor the cruise ship tender schedules and plan our tour itineraries to give you plenty of time to return back to your ship. ISLAND VISITORS: We will meet you at your point of departure.

* Swimwear if interested in swimming at West Bay Beach.
* Comfortable clothing and sturdy footwear.
* Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.
* Insect repellant.
* Cash for small purchases.
Level of Physical Exertion:
Scuba diving somewhat strenuous. Participants should be relatively fit. Refunds and Balance Payments:
We requrie a 50% deposit. Your deposit is fully refundable if you cancel your reservation at least 3 days before your tour. In addition, you will receive a full refund if your cruise ship does not stop in Roatan for any reason, or if weather conditions or other factors force us to cancel your reservation. Balance payments in Roatan must be paid in cash with U.S. dollars. If you wish to pay your balance in advance by credit card, a surcharge of 4 percent of the payment amount will be charged to your credit card. |
